Our District AGM takes place on 22nd May (full details below) and this year we are lucky to be joined by a guest speaker, Steve Judge, who will talk about “being the best you can be”.
Steve was born in Kings Langley and is a two-times World Champion para-triathlete. In 2002 he was in a horrific car accident in 2002 after which he was told that due to severe injuries to both legs, he may never walk again. Thanks to medical excellence from Sheffield hospital and sheer determination, dedication and commitment, he has managed to achieve set goals and surpass belief to reach the status of World Champion of Paratriathlon Tri 3.
As a national Scouting Ambassador, Steve aims to inspire and motivate young people and adults to “be the best you can be”. His speaking appearances have been described as “amazing”, “incredible” and “unmissable”.
