An opportunity for prospective applicants and their families to find out more about:
- what a jamboree is
- what commitment is required in the 21 months before the event
- what commitment is required in the 3-6 months after the event
- how funds can be raised to facilitate anybody to attend a World Scout Jamboree
Prior to this event, a representative from the district’s “jamboree support group” will have visited each troop in the second half of the Summer term and letters about how to apply and the selection process will be distributed in early September 2021.
