Each half term, we will alternate between a combined GSL/District Team meeting and the GSL/AGSL and Group Chairs Forum. Each forum will be focused on one main topic, with incidental updates and discussion on other topics if necessary.
The theme for our first forum will be about the transition to recording youth members online – outlining the changes being implemented by the Association during 2014 and how the use of Online Scout Manager (OSM) fits into this. The owner of OSM, Ed Jellard, will be joining us to give a presentation.
We will be discussing the implications of the changes, necessary steps to prepare and the benefits to groups and the district of recording members using one of the two systems as the “front-end”.
