Lochearnhead 2025

Plans are progressing for the District expedition to the Hertfordshire Scouts base at Lochearnhead in the Scottish highlands. We have exclusive use of the centre and activities will include walking in the hills, climbing, canoeing, kayaking, dinghy sailing and visits to local places of interest. The core leader team are now looking to recruit active and enthusiastic adults from any section who would like to take part, either as part of the activity teams or to support and encourage our youngsters in this unique experience, taking part in all the activities with them.
The dates are 9th to 23rd August 2025. Leaders can elect to go for both weeks or just one week. The cost to Leaders will be £400 for the two weeks, or £250 plus the cost of one way transport for one week. There may be some financial support available for anyone unable to meet this cost.
