Christmas Panto 2025

For this year’s District Event, we’re inviting all sections to join us at the Boxmoor Playhouse for lots of Panto fun and games watching ‘Robin Hood: Babes in the Wood’ where we’ve been able to reserve an entire performance especially for Hemel scouts.

Venue: Boxmoor Playhouse Theatre, 72 St Johns Road, Hemel Hempstead HP1 1NP

Please note parking outside the theatre can be a challenge, so suggestion is that groups meet up nearby and walk their young people to the playhouse.

Arrival: Please aim to arrive at venue at or before 3.30pm to allow time for getting settled, bathroom breaks and buying any drinks/snacks before the curtain goes up at 4.

Finish:  Currently the show is expected to run for around 2 ½ hours (including intermission) so ending by around 6.30pm.  For ease of pickups, you may want to arrange these from your drop off point a little later.

Drinks, snacks, sweets and ice-creams and programmes will be on sale at the playhouse so attendees may want to bring cash/cards (prices tbc but £5 should be plenty.  Please note Boxmoor Playhouse is a nut-free venue.
